Contact Utility Billing at 970-962-2111 to start, stop or transfer service and schedule a meter reading. We can process your service request for as early as the next business day, or up to two weeks in advance. Readings are not done on weekends.
Your first utility bill will include any applicable fee(s) for starting service. If the City owes the customer a check will be issued for any amount in excess of the total amount owed.
The City requires a deposit, which is held until you establish a good payment record for 12 consecutive months. If you have not established 12 consecutive months of good credit, a service deposit is required at the new address.
Expect the final bill for the prior address within two weeks of the service stop date.
