This edition of the Requirements for Electric Service is effective February 6, 2024. This book replaces all previous editions of the Requirements for Electric Service or Contractor Construction Standards books. All previous editions should be destroyed. These requirements apply to all new electric installations and additions to or modifications of existing electric installations. To request exemptions or revisions to the Requirements for Electric Service please complete and submit an Exemption/Revision Form.
